If you're not seeing your content appear on your social media profiles, this article will help you identify and resolve the issue quickly.
First: Check Your Content Calendar
Your Monthly Momentum Report includes a schedule of what's been published and when. Before assuming a post is missing, check the report to confirm whether the content was scheduled for the date you're looking for. Posts may be scheduled earlier or later in the day than you expect based on your audience's optimal activity window.
Common Reasons Posts Don't Appear
1. Platform Account Disconnection
Social media platforms periodically require re-authorization of third-party tools. If your account gets disconnected from our scheduling system, posts that were queued will fail silently. This is the most common reason clients don't see expected posts.
What to do: Email Contact Us and we'll check the connection status on our end immediately. We typically catch these disconnections before they cause missed posts, but if one slips through, we'll reschedule the affected content at no charge.
2. Platform-Side Removal
Occasionally a platform's automated systems may remove a post due to a perceived policy violation — even when no actual violation occurred. This can happen with content containing certain music, copyrighted imagery in the background, or text that triggers automated filters.
What to do: Email Contact Us with the platform name and approximate post date. We'll check the publishing log and let you know what happened.
3. Content Still Being Processed
If you sent us content recently, it may still be in our production queue. Our standard turnaround is 3–5 business days from receipt. Content sent after the 15th of the month may not appear until the following month's schedule begins.
If None of the Above Apply
If you've checked your report, your account appears connected, and you still can't find expected posts, email Contact Us with the platform name and the date range in question. We'll investigate within one business day and send you a complete publishing log for that period.
